This  is  your  chance  to  get  live,  hands  on  experience  with  one  of  the  oldest  restorative  tools  in  the  world—the  Indian  Club.  For  those  who  have  T-Spine  mobility  issues  or  shoulder  mobility  issues  due  to  an  injury,  inactivity,  or  surgery,  Indian  Clubs  provide  students  with  a  way  to  explore  different  ranges  of  motion  in  order  to  help  ultimately  regain  Joint  Integrity.  Also  considered  'brain  training',  the practice  of  Indian  Clubs  awakens  the  brain  and  neural  pathways,  increases  mobility,  and  significantly  improves  alignment  throughout  the  body. 

 

This  tool  also  helps  to  bridge  the  gap  to  overhead.  The  material  in  the  course  is  integral  for  anyone  who  lifts  overhead,  even  those  without  current  restrictions.  

An  overwhelming  majority  of  students  experience  immediate  changes  in  shoulder  function  and  feeling  during  the  workshop.  These  immediate  benefits  are  then  maintained  and  improved  with  proper  practice  of  the  skills  learned  in  this  course.

TACTICAL STRENGTH CHALLENGE

The Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC) is a strength competition consisting of three events:

  • A three-attempt powerlifting deadlift
  • Pullups for max reps
  • Kettlebell snatches for max reps in a 5:00 time period

WHAT ARE YOU TRAINING FOR?

The old saying goes, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” Training is no different. If you lack a specific goal, the time you spend training may easily become a collection of random acts.

The StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge is a goal worthy of your efforts.

The three exercises that make up the Tactical Strength Challenge are:

  • A max powerlifting deadlift (three attempts)
  • Pull ups for max reps (palms forward, no kipping, chin must clear the bar) or a flexed arm hang (in the Novice Women’s category)
  • Kettlebell snatches for max reps in a 5:00 time period (unlimited hand switches and different weights for different competitor categories).

Preparing requires your focus on different types of strength and endurance—as demanded by real life’s challenges.

TSC WORKSHOP

For this reason, we are bringing the Tactical Strength Challenge (TSC) to the Bay Area on Oct 27!

What is the TSC?
It is an international competition made up of 3 Events:
🔥A max powerlifting deadlift
🔥Pull Ups for max reps
🔥Kettlebell Snatchesmax reps in 5min

For anyone who wants to test themselves or find a worthy goal to train for, this is a good opportunity to check in on your overall fitness progress each year.

We will be holding a TSC Workshop to go over rules and technique for the event.
This workshop will also kick off our 9-week TSC Prep Camp!--employing PlanStrong and StrongEndurance training protocols for students and attendees of the workshop to prepare and peak for the event.

So here are the dates:
Aug 25: TSC Workshop 9a-12p
Oct 27: Tactical Strength Challenge

Our prep camp will be held through our group training in the interem 9 weeks!
